Many residents come to Woodheyes for respite care if they have suffered a short illness, or a family member is unable to look after them for what ever reason and we also offer the ability for residents to come and stay with us while their families are away on holiday.
This gives residents the opportunity to relax knowing that staff are on hand to assist with all aspects of their daily life, including personal care and administration of medication.
Respite and holiday residents can enjoy our friendly atmosphere with our permanent residents or, if they wish, they can stay in the privacy of their own room (all with en-suites) as well as enjoy our freshly prepared home cooked meals, have an unlimited amount of drinks and snacks.
During your respite stay all your laundry will be serviced by our laundry assistant with the help of our care assistants.
If you desire you can participate in a range of our daily activities. Meanwhile families can relax, knowing that their loved ones are safe and happy.
